PTSD is a condition that develops as a result of an individual experiencing a real or perceived event that produces unexplainable symptoms such as anger, mood swings, hyper vigilance, inability to focus, panic attacks and social anxiety.
As an officer in the United States Army, I have worked with hundreds of US Service Members who suffered with PTSD. I also have extensive experience working with individuals who have experienced natural disasters, physical abuse, sexual abuse and suicide survivors.
My approach is to treat each client’s experience as unique and meaningful. Together we develop treatment plan goals and objectives, monitoring for progress or adjustments so that the client can focus on healing.
